Walk (12 minutes)
Get out of the Kyoto Station from the Central Gate and cross the street over to the Kyoto Tower (Hotel) building.
You may get out from Shinkansen Central or from the West Gate, but then turn right, keep walking straight and go downstairs to the ground. You will then see the Tower on your right.
You can walk toward it, but can also go left toward the Central Post Office instead to come to us via Shinmachi-dori. If you choose the latter, click on 'T-junction' in the map to correctly enter our alley with the photo there.
(If you see the Fismy/Avanti building instead of the Tower, please go to the other/north side of the station.)
From the Tower, keep walking on the left side of Karasuma-dori up north until you reach the 7-Eleven store. Turn left, and you will see us on the right, four buildings before the T-junction.
Underground (Subway in the US)
After you have got off your train or bus at the Kyoto Station, follow the signs writing 'Subway' or ''’n‰º“S ;'
At the Subway station, buy a ticket for 210 yen / adult.
(Insert coins or a note to the ticket vending machine and press '210'.)
Please note that the Subway is not the JR, so you can not use?@the JR Pass.
Take any train from Platform #2.
Get off at the first stop, Gojo, and go upstairs from the rear (south)?@side of the platform.
Further behind the escalator and stairs is an elevator too.
After the ticket gates, go upstairs through Exit #8.?@Alternatively, if you turn 180 degrees after the gates and walk a bit?@in the corridor, there is an elevator (Exit #6).
When you come out to the street from whichever exit above, go right.?@At the 7-Eleven store, turn right.
You will see us on the right, four buildings before the T-junction.
Note for the Subway elevators:?@In those at Gojo, press '' to go upstairs and '' downstairs.?@In those at the Kyoto Station, 'B' stands for Basement.
Taxi
There are always too many taxis waiting for customers at the taxi?@stands around the Kyoto Station for a long time, and we are located?@a bit too close from the station to use those taxis.
They can not refuse you, but to avoid possibly seeing an unhappy?@driver, we recommend to catch a taxi?@passing by before they join?@the queue.
You are most likely to find an available taxi on the streets shown in?@the above map within a few minutes.

right-hand bottom corner of the front glass.
Please show your driver the above map.?@Due to the road restrictions, he/she has to go further north after
the 7-Eleven store (detour).
The instructions tell to set you down just after the T-junction on?@Shinmachi-dori.
